Everybody makes mistakes; what matters is that we don't repeat them. With 107 billion people who have come before us, we have a lot of lessons to learn from!
Our job is to memorialize their stories.
<<<<< Do I love Science the most?

Or could I possibly have two equally deep interests? Could these two interests intertwine and complement each other?
My favorite place on earth is the lab. If I could, I would move into a science lab.
Find out what problems interest me the most, what keeps me glued to a microscope for hours.
I have always said: "Curiosity has only killed the cat." It is my curiosity to find answers, to know more about the workings of life that drives me to dig deeper in all of my studies. It is plain, old curiosity that lead to my scientific discovery.
Between my science projects, I often find myself inspired to jot down a lingering thought or a pale vignette of life. What started out as a singular school project--where we were asked to write a pastiche piece--led me to writing a full novel. Today, writing is my escape from the ordinary.
I joined the Girl Scouts program in kindergarten, and stayed with Troop 443 to this day. Despite moving on to different middle- and high schools, our troop stayed together, still going strong.
Although, for me, learning is the greatest pleasure, I will not say 'no' to ice skating, visiting state fairs and carnivals, snorkeling at Alohilani or hiking Tantalus. And Chocolate.
I owe my best memories and greatest fun in high school to Science Olympiad. I was on Iolani School's Div B and Div C teams for four years, having a blast.
